Back to Belize we go on November 22!

Our trip to Belize was quite an experience. We had been warned that Caye Caulker was very rustic...after spending one week there, we decided to revisit the area...but stay near San Pedro within walking distance of restaurants (that we like) and some comforts that we are used to (like being able to flush your toilet paper!) We are preparing to go back this Thanksgiving.

Belizean Shore Summer 2008

Belize is a beautiful place. We were fortunate to be able to spend a week there, flying direct from Atlanta into Belize City and then in a small plane to Caye Caulker. Every evening the sky was georgous and we had good weather every day. Some new experiences included- swimming with nurse sharks (kinda scary for me) and holding a stingray while snorkeling.

I am excited about my first blogging experience. I have not participated in much blogging and am looking forward to this as a creative outlet and as a way to make contacts with those who share some of my interests.

I love to go......and do things that challege and stimulate me.......visit new places........and push myself to grow.....I hope that I will be able to draw inspiration from contacts that I will make here and to inspire others....
